Terms of service
Last updated: 12 October 2026
These terms cover your use of the hosted Roook website (https://www.roook.dev) and web app, run by Aayush Kumar, operating Roook.
Aayush Kumar is an individual based in India. Roook is not incorporated as a company, so "Roook" and "the operator" on this page mean Aayush Kumar.
The open-source code
Roook's source code is published at https://github.com/tony19053000/rook under the MIT licence (https://github.com/tony19053000/rook/blob/main/LICENSE). Your use of the code itself is governed by that licence, not by these terms.
The hosted site
The hosted site is provided as is during early access. There are no paid plans and no billing.
Guests can run only the example repositories, with recorded IBM Bob answers, and have a daily run limit.
Features and limits may change, and the hosted site may be changed or stopped at any time.
Acceptable use
- Only test repositories you are allowed to test, and only connect repositories you are allowed to share.
- Don't abuse the guest quota, and don't try to get around the quotas, rate limits or sandboxing.
- Don't try to disrupt the service for others.
- You are responsible for reviewing any fix Roook proposes before you merge it.
No warranty and limited liability
The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind.
To the extent the law of India allows, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from its use.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Contact: Aayush Kumar, operating Roook, at aayush@roook.dev.
